Mother- The sweetest word!

9 Jul

Yes,The sweetest word in the world. What doesn’t a mother do to hear this word? But the hardest time is first time one becomes a mother ! She begins a completely new life . At first, of course, it is very hard to adjust but eventually everything fits in and becomes alright(well,at least a little)! All the pain of the 9 months disappear when the mother first carries the baby close to her chest.

It is an exceptional and extra ordinary feeling. It is naturally very hard to know how to take care of the first child. I still remember how my husband found it difficult to trust  that I would be able to carry my first baby or even change her nappy or give her  a bath properly! Because I used to be scared that she might fall,or I might hurt her while dressing her up! But no ! Just a few years later I took care of my triplet boys and 5 year old girl with a maid (who helped us for one year ). I know that many mothers do not have much time  because time travels extremely fast when living with small children. That is why the first thing a mum must do is  time management . Time should be managed in such a way that the most important works are put first . Work like cooking , cleaning, etc should be done when the child is asleep. The rest of the work can be done even when the child is awake. Specially, for families whose husband’s do shift duties or those who live abroad, taking care of babies are a little hard. The most important thing a mother needs is “patience”. I am writing this from my own experience. Some days, I could hardly believe that I got some sleep! But still my daughter’s school, study and husband’s office  timings, cooking ,cleaning would always come first and I’d try to do it perfectly hoping that they wouldn’t have any problems ! Because , I knew that I could find some time for rest but my daughter and husband won’t get that time in school or office if they don’t go correctly and on time .And that is how a mother can try to keep a family happy and take her child as a blessing!
